Your Role:
As a Night Auditor, you will oversee the hotel's operations during the overnight shift, handling audit tasks, front desk responsibilities, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Your mission is to maintain accuracy in all transactions, manage nightly procedures, and provide excellent service. Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Complete the Night Audit checklist for computer procedures and run all reports as required for audit completion.
- Balance the day’s work (i.e., movie revenue, telephone postings, valet, laundry, server and desk agent’s paperwork, etc.).
- Maintain cashiering responsibilities.
- Ensure public areas are clean, locked and secured.
- Assist guests at the Front Desk with any check-ins, check-outs, or inquiries.
- Follow safety and emergency procedures according to hotel standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- At least 1 year of progressive experience in hotel front desk operations.
- Previous Supervisory responsibility or Night Auditor experience preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; 2 to 4-year college degree helpful.
- Knowledge of Accounting Principles & proficiency with Windows operating systems
- Ability to work independently and handle problem-solving and emergency situations effectively.
- Customer Service experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be proficient with Windows operating systems.
- A positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests.
- Must have the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and be able to problem-solve to effectively deal with internal and external customers.
