Job Summary

We are hiring for one of our clients seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Medical-Surgical (MedSurg) unit. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care, managing a diverse patient population, and ensuring high-quality outcomes through clinical expertise, critical thinking, and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments while ensuring patient safety
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Address physical, emotional, and social needs of patients and families
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and recovery processes
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Delegate tasks appropriately within scope of practice
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment or compact license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical or related nursing specialty
• Experience in hospital or acute care settings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Work Conditions / Additional Information

• Work Schedule: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• On-site role in a medical-surgical unit
• Fast-paced, patient-focused environment
• Rotating weekends and holidays may be required
• Orientation, training, and competency validation provided upon onboarding
