Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients seeking a highly detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to ensure that all manufactured electrical products meet the highest quality, safety, and compliance standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product reliability, supporting production teams, and driving continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures, checklists, and guidelines.
- Perform testing and analysis to identify defects and determine improvement needs.
- Document inspection findings and maintain accurate records of quality metrics.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and develop preventive quality strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout operations.
- Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in quality control or manufacturing, ideally in electrical or transformer-related environments.
- Knowledge of quality standards and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Strong attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency using inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, meters).
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments.
