Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our prime clients seeking an experienced Information Services Lead to oversee application support, lead cross-functional teams, and drive system optimization initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex projects within healthcare or business systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead application support functions including incident, problem, request, and change management
- Oversee implementation phases such as configuration, testing, go-live, and optimization
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, ensuring high-quality outcomes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver project solutions
- Analyze workflows, identify improvements, and document processes
- Manage project timelines, reporting, and escalation of critical issues
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and facilitate communication across departments
- Maintain expertise in relevant technologies and systems
- Support vendor changes and system enhancements
- Travel and extended hours may be required based on project needs
Requirements
Education & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in healthcare, business, or information systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in healthcare, business, or information systems
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Project management experience is an advantage
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams
Certifications
- Relevant certifications in the area of specialization preferred
- For Epic-related roles: certification or proficiency in assigned module required or to be obtained upon hire
