Job Title: LVN SNF
Location: Alturas, CA
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: All shifts
Hours: 36 guaranteed hrs/week
Minimum Experience: 1 year
License: Active CA LVN license required
Responsibilities include:
- Patient assessments and monitoring
- Developing individualized care plans
- Administering medications as ordered
- Performing treatments and nursing procedures
- IV starts and blood draws
- EKGs
- Wound care and maintaining wound cart
- Patient/family education
- Documentation of assessments and nursing interventions
- Responding to emergency situations
- Infection control and safety procedures
- Reporting changes in patient condition to appropriate staff
- Coordinating patient transfers for procedures/diagnostic tests
- Assisting with direct patient care as needed
- Working with CNAs and other nursing staff
- Maintaining accurate medication and narcotics documentation
- Participating in staff education and meetings
Key Requirements
- Active California LVN license
- Minimum 1 year of LVN experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- SNF experience is highly relevant
- Must be flexible with all shifts
- Must wear Caribbean Blue scrubs
- Must maintain current CPR/BLS certification
