Responsibilities include supporting new product, process, and service launches through advanced quality planning and thorough documentation.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Serve as the Quality interface between the organization and its customers, proactively ensuring that customer needs and expectations are understood and met.
- Manage the complaint process and lead the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and analyze supplier performance reports to provide feedback to both suppliers and internal teams.
- Participate in the organization’s internal Quality System Audit program and monitor corrective actions.
- Develop and analyze statistical data and product/process performance to recommend and implement improvements.
- Ensure company compliance with ISO 9001 standards, processes, and procedures.
- Design and conduct quality-related training programs across the organization.
- Support all stages of product development and launch activities.
- Develop and evaluate process capability studies, control plans, and conduct process audits to drive performance improvements.
- Develop, implement, and audit inspection and test plans, standards, acceptance criteria, procedures, and work instructions.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, ensuring thorough follow-up on corrective actions.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, repair processes, quality improvement programs, and design for manufacturability.
- Working knowledge of quality tools and techniques, including data analysis and sampling plans.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to establish effective partnerships with internal stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to product development, quality assurance, supplier quality engineering, supplier performance systems, and engineering documentation.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to access and navigate various departments within the organization’s facilities.
