This position is responsible for managing, organizing and controlling inventory of all the production-related equipment. Also requires strong collaboration with multiple departments, including program manager, receiving team, procurement team and vendor
Duties/Responsibilities
- Consolidate fixture demand from different departments and provide fixture list during the planning stage of the NPI.
- Contact vendor for quotation and submit PR, work with financial team to finish the EQ procurement.
- Track receiving status of equipment after purchase, report EQ arrived progress to PM team to meet the project schedule.
- Receive equipment, labeling and managing equipment asset number.
- Control and transfer equipment between different buildings for engineering teams.
- Submit orders for different teams weekly when they have EQ/tool demand, control expense and execute purchase requisition using SAP.
- Conduct routinely cycle count to make sure EQ inventory balancing.
- Track spare part / consumable part order, inventory, and cycle count.
- Obtain cost approval and initiate entire repair process when EQ is broken.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills at all levels; written, oral & presentation skills required.
- Ability to manage multiple issues at one time.
- Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Chinese language is a plus, chance to communicate with Asia.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, supply chain or engineering related or 5 years of related working experience.
- Experience in SAP or other modern purchasing systems.
- Experience in warehouse, logistics and supply chain.
- Ability to lift to 30 pounds.
