Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 2 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience
- Strong AP foundation with the ability to read, analyze, and think through invoices end-to-end
- Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-changing environment (startup or biotech experience preferred)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to problem-solve independently
- Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, PO matching, and vendor reconciliations
- Support account, bank, and general ledger reconciliations and assist with month-end close
- Maintain and close purchase orders while ensuring proper approval workflows are followed
- Assist with audit support, 1099 reporting, and continuous process improvements as the company scales
- Hybrid schedule (2 days in office, 3 days remote) with flexible hours
