Job Roles And Responsibilities
- Coordinate all laboratory equipment requirements across capital projects.
- Plan and manage equipment budgets, procurement, and logistics including testing, shipping, and installation.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to support project execution.
- Develop equipment specifications and programming documentation.
- Identify and define equipment requirements including spare parts and long lead items.
- Monitor equipment acquisition and manage updates throughout the design phase.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and operational teams to ensure design compliance.
- Conduct site visits to verify installation, utility connections, and equipment readiness.
- Support installation, commissioning, calibration, and validation processes including IQ, OQ, and PQ.
- Ensure all equipment meets operational, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 10 or more years of experience in laboratory equipment design, construction, or project environments.
- Experience managing equipment for large-scale capital projects.
- Strong understanding of equipment lifecycle, procurement, and validation processes.
- Professional Engineer license preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
