The position requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience in industrial environments such as refining, chemical, or pharmaceutical facilities.
Job Roles And Responsibilities
- Lead civil and structural engineering projects and oversee project execution.
- Prepare, review, and approve engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Design steel structures, concrete structures, and foundations.
- Design underground piping systems, drainage, and related infrastructure.
- Review CAD drawings and ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Supervise and mentor engineers, designers, and CAD drafters.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support project delivery.
- Prepare architectural layouts, material takeoffs, and project staffing plans.
- Develop and deliver technical documentation within project timelines and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and development of engineering standards.
- Support team performance and professional development.
- Travel as required for project needs, including domestic and international assignments.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 15 to 25 years of experience in industrial sectors such as refining, chemical, fertilizer, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Active Professional Engineer license with ability to obtain additional registrations.
- NCEES Record and TWIC card or ability to obtain.
- Proficiency in STAAD Pro, spMats, spColumn, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Working knowledge of MicroStation, BricsCAD, and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with building codes and standards including IBC, OSHA, ASCE 7, and Florida Building Code.
- Experience with NavisWorks and 3D laser scanning technologies.
- Knowledge of site drainage, underground piping, and architectural design is a plus.

Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
