Responsibilities
- Handle employment litigation matters from pre-litigation through trial preparation
- Draft and respond to written discovery
- Prepare, oppose, and argue motions
- Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda
- Appear in court proceedings and hearings
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Advise clients regarding employment and labor law issues
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to effectively manage cases
- Maintain strong client communication throughout the litigation process
- 3 years of employment litigation and/or commercial litigation experience
- Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Strong oral advocacy and communication abilities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction
- Experience handling employment law disputes, including workplace-related claims
- Strong case management and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with depositions, motion practice, and court appearances
- Full-Time
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) required
- Minimum 3 years of legal practice experience required
Salary : $150,000 - $250,000
