Responsibilities
- Represent and advise clients in civil and criminal matters
- Conduct client consultations and case assessments
- Perform legal research and prepare case materials
- Attend hearings and court appearances as required
- Draft and review legal documents
- Develop case strategies and provide legal guidance
- Interview and advise prospective clients
- Travel to surrounding Montana courts as needed
- Active member in good standing of the Montana State Bar
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to interpret and apply legal principles effectively
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally as needed
- Exposure to litigation (civil or criminal preferred)
