Job Summary
The Print Operator plays a crucial role in the document production process, ensuring high-quality output for critical client communications. Key Responsibilities
- Operate inkjet machines, folding equipment, and hand enclosing machines
- Set up and monitor printing presses to ensure accurate, high-quality output
- Read and follow production schedules, job instructions, and quality specifications
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform routine maintenance and cleaning
- Track production output and complete required documentation
- Assist with packing, sorting, and preparing print jobs for distribution
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Work overtime and weekends as required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in printing or production environments preferred
- Basic computer skills for production tracking and reporting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
