RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle all phases of litigation, including case assessment, strategy development, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, experts, and corporate representatives.
- Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions, evidentiary motions, and procedural applications.
- Manage court appearances, hearings, and conferences in state and federal courts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Personal injury, insurance defense and/or commercial litigation experience required
- Experience with motor carrier, rail, or maritime litigation preferred
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, including conducting and defending depositions and regular court appearances
- First-chair trial experience preferred
- Louisiana law license or ability to waive-in required
