On behalf of our Technology client, Procom is searching for a Systems Manager for a contract to hire. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Richardson, Texas office.
Systems Manager - Job Description:
The Systems Manager is responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of office systems and server infrastructure across the organization. This role involves managing core platforms like Microsoft 365 and overseeing technical operations to deliver seamless user experiences.
Systems Manager - Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team focused on identity, access, and asset management.
- Develop and execute strategies for high availability and performance of systems.
- Oversee Microsoft 365 applications and manage Microsoft Intune.
- Administer Entra ID and ensure MFA/SSO configurations.
- Manage server provisioning, imaging, and configuration.
- Monitor server health and oversee patching and updates.
- Ensure timely onboarding/offboarding of users.
- Drive automation and scripting initiatives.
- Serve as a point of escalation for complex issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5 years of IT operations experience, with 2 years in leadership.
- Expertise in Microsoft 365, Intune, and Entra ID.
- Experience with server provisioning and monitoring.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell).
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
