This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced, fully credentialed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) who are dedicated to supporting students with diverse needs. The client is based in Doylestown, and while efforts will be made to assign you near your home, flexibility in final site placement is essential to meet student and program needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) license meeting Pennsylvania Department of Education requirements
- Previous experience working in school-based settings with moderate to severe student populations
- Comfortable managing a dynamic caseload and collaborative classroom environment
- Must reside within 35 minutes of chosen school site and have reliable transportation
- Absolute commitment to the full ESY schedule (Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM, June 24–July 30)
- Previous employment with this client via another agency within the past year disqualifies candidates
- Not accepting SLP-CF or SLPA applicants
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy and related services as assigned
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary staff to support student IEP goals
- Complete thorough documentation and participate in team meetings
- Attend mandatory Foundation orientation and any preparatory training days
- Adapt to varying classroom assignments and grade levels as determined by student enrollment
