A contract-based Speech-Language Pathologist role is available for ESY services in Bucks County, supporting students with a variety of needs from June 24 through July 30, 2026. This position is designed for professionals with active SLP-CCC credentials seeking a dynamic and rewarding setting.
Qualifications:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC); CFs and SLPAs are not eligible
- Valid Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) SLP credential (required)
- Previous experience working in K-12 school settings highly preferred, especially with students exhibiting moderate to severe needs and behavioral challenges
- Commitment to the full ESY schedule (Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
- Must reside within 35 minutes of a school site and have reliable transportation
- Must be able to attend mandatory Foundations orientation and setup/training on June 24-25
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to assigned caseload
- Conduct assessments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on IEP goals and progress
- Document services and maintain records according to state/local guidelines
- Adapt interventions and strategies to meet unique student needs
- Coordinate with teachers and staff to support effective classroom communication
- Participate in scheduled meetings, trainings, and required documentation
