Qualifications:
- Current WA State Department of Health SLP License
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid WA State SLP ESA certification
- Fingerprint clearance and successful WSP/FBI background and sexual misconduct checks
- Possession of a valid Washington State Driver’s License or proof of mobility
- Prior school-based experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech/language services and diagnostic assessments to K-12 students, both individually and in groups
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address students’ unique communication needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
- Assist in RTI (Response to Intervention) activities when required
As part of this role, you will be instrumental in fostering communication skills and student confidence in a school-based, collaborative environment. The position follows a student in-person day schedule, averaging 37.5 hours per week for a healthy work-life balance.
