Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a meaningful role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist during the Extended School Year (ESY) session. This summer contract offers the chance to make an impact by providing onsite services at multiple school locations. With a focused caseload of 56 students across several elementary schools and a high school, you’ll be instrumental in helping them achieve their communication goals throughout the Connellsville region.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP Educator Certificate required
- Experience delivering SLP services in educational settings
- Strong communication, organizational, and adaptability skills
- Commitment to positive student outcomes and collaborative work within a multidisciplinary team
Primary Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services as outlined in students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support professionals across West Crawford Elementary, Dunbar Township Elementary, Springfield Elementary, and Connellsville Area High School
- Complete session documentation, progress notes, and required ESY paperwork promptly and accurately
- Screen, assess, and provide interventions for a wide range of speech-language needs in K-12 students
- Participate in team meetings as needed to support student progress
