Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- West Virginia SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to multiple school environments
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practice
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to assigned students, both individually and in groups
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate session documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student learning goals
- Attend relevant IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development
- Travel between assigned sites as needed (mileage reimbursement provided)
