Step into a rewarding role supporting students’ communication needs during Extended School Year (ESY) services. This contract opportunity offers school-based experience across several elementary and high school sites, working with a diverse group of learners. Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams during a focused summer session.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP Educator Certificate (required)
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with staff and families
- Flexibility to travel between multiple campuses as part of your daily schedule
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of 56 students during the ESY session
- Deliver services onsite at West Crawford Elementary, Dunbar Township Elementary, Springfield Elementary, and Connellsville Area High School
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized communication interventions in accordance with student IEPs
- Collaborate with school staff to monitor progress, document data, and adjust strategies as needed
- Attend meetings and contribute expertise to support student success during the ESY program
Contract Details:
- Dates: July 1, 2026, through July 30, 2026
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM, Monday through Thursday
- One onsite opening, covering multiple sites within the area
