This contract role places you at the heart of multiple educational sites, working closely with a diverse caseload of 56 students across several schools, including elementary and high school settings. Utilize your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and make a tangible difference in students’ progress.
Key Qualifications:
- SLP-CCC certification required
- Active Pennsylvania SLP Educator Certificate
- Previous experience supporting school-aged children in educational environments
- Strong communication skills, both with students and interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage and prioritize a busy caseload across multiple locations
- Experience with ESY or similar summer programs preferred
Role Highlights:
- Provide onsite SLP services to students across West Crawford Elementary, Dunbar Township Elementary, Springfield Elementary, and Connellsville Area High School
- Deliver direct student therapy, assessments, and develop IEP-driven interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to promote student growth
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring in alignment with district standards
- Engage in team meetings and contribute insight for ongoing student support
- Schedule: July 1 - July 30, from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, helping support busy summer school mornings
