Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1 years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support mostly middle school students with some high school involvement. This contract role will involve working primarily across 1-2 school buildings with a focus on delivering timely and effective psychological services.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload consisting mostly of middle school students, with some support provided to high school students
- Conduct 5-7 ongoing evaluations and re-evaluations at any given time
- Complete 2-3 re-evaluations per month and approximately one initial evaluation every two months
- Assist with manifestation determinations and related processes as needed
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement individualized educational plans and interventions
- Provide on-site support to high school when required
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Degree and credentials required for practicing as a School Psychologist in an educational setting
- Experience working with middle school populations preferred
- Ability to manage multiple evaluations and re-evaluations concurrently
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of school-based mental health services and legal guidelines related to special education
