A K-12 school in Westland, MI is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a contract position for the current school year (CSY). This role offers the opportunity to support students across all grade levels in a dynamic educational environment focused on fostering academic success and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide consultative support and counseling services to students to address behavioral, social, and emotional challenges
• Assist in crisis intervention and contribute to the creation of safe, inclusive school environments
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary

Qualifications & Experience:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
• Valid certification/licensure to practice as a School Psychologist in Michigan
• Demonstrated experience conducting psychoeducational assessments in K-12 settings
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, assessment tools, and intervention strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
