School Psychologist - Hillsboro, OR

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1 years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school psychologist position is available to support K-12 students in a rural Oregon school district. This contract role spans the 2025-2026 school year, involving approximately 20 hours per week with a schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The position focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services, including evaluations and behavioral planning to support student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services
• Develop Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
• Collaborate with educators and families to support student needs
• Provide consultation aligned with Oregon legal and educational requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current TSPC School Psychologist license required
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with Oregon special education laws and eligibility criteria
• Experience working in rural community settings preferred
• Ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and families

Work Arrangement:

• Primarily in-person services are preferred to ensure quality evaluations and observations
• Hybrid work options available allowing some remote completion of supporting tasks after on-site testing and interviews
