This opportunity seeks a dedicated School Psychologist to support K-12 students within a welcoming school community. This contract position offers 20 hours per week during the 2025-26 school year, working primarily in a rural setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services
- Develop Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Collaborate closely with educators and families to support student success
- Complete required documentation and maintain compliance with Oregon laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid TSPC license as a School Psychologist
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Thorough knowledge of Oregon eligibility criteria and education law
- Prior experience working in rural school communities preferred
- Ability to perform observations, interviews, and direct testing onsite to assess student needs
Schedule & Location:
- 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with flexibility
- Position is based in a rural K-8 and high school environment
- Preference for 100% in-person work, with a hybrid model considered allowing for remote completion of non-assessment tasks
