A full-time contract position is open for a Business CTE Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year, starting in August. Located near Canaan, VT, this role focuses on delivering engaging Career and Technical Education classes to students in grades 7 through 12, with an emphasis on business, marketing, finance, and management pathways.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Vermont teaching certification required
• Prior experience teaching general education, life skills, or CTE courses preferred
• Familiarity with curriculum development for grades 7-12
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds
• Comfort collaborating with colleagues and school administration

Primary Responsibilities:

• Teach full-time (37.5 hours per week) Career and Technical Education classes focused on business, marketing, finance, and management concepts
• Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to a diverse student population
• Foster a dynamic and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and hands-on learning
• Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support growth and learning
• Collaborate with other teachers and office staff to deliver integrated instruction
• Participate in professional development activities and utilize best practices in teaching business education
