Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role based in Woodbridge, VA. As a Select Staff Coach, you will be responsible for leading and managing soccer training sessions and games for select-level teams. Duties include planning and executing effective training programs, monitoring player development, and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves collaborating with other coaches, engaging with players' families, and contributing to the overall growth of the soccer club.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of soccer techniques, tactics, and training methods
- Coaching experience, particularly with youth and select-level teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with players, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to evaluate player development and provide actionable feedback
- Organizational and time management skills for planning training schedules and team management
- USSF Coaching License or equivalent certification is preferred
- Passion for mentoring and inspiring players to achieve their potential
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
