Role Description
This is a part-time/full-time, on-site role located in Woodbridge, VA, for the position of Classic Director. The Classic Director will oversee all aspects of the club’s classic soccer programs, ensuring high-quality training and competitive opportunities for all players. Responsibilities include providing oversight and management for Classic teams, facilitating parent and player communication, and managing program logistics. The Classic Director will collaborate with other department heads to promote cohesive operations and represent the club at professional events and community engagements.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, organizational, and program management skills
- Experience in coaching and developing age-appropriate soccer training programs
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with coaches, parents, and players
- Proficiency in scheduling, planning, and program logistics
- Familiarity with youth development principles and managerial know-how in the athletic field
- Knowledge of soccer rules, leagues, and referee coordination with a focus on community-centered programs
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Education, or a related field is preferred
- Coaching certification (e.g., USSF D-License or equivalent) and first aid/CPR certification are a plus
