About the Role
We are a fast-growing restaurant group seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy of daily revenue reporting, deposit reconciliation, and catering customer invoicing. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating cross-functionally with operations and café managers. Responsibilities
- Monitor and reconcile daily revenue and deposits across all locations
- Invoice customers for catering orders, issue statements, and manage collections
- Respond to and resolve chargebacks
- Reconcile gift card activity
- Assist with operations on cash handling training, performing safe audits, and bank deposit authorizations
- Support and troubleshoot operational issues including sales ticket discrepancies & comp/void/deposit verification and corrections
- Contribute to monthly close process improvements, with a focus on speed and accuracy
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Revenue Accounting, or related roles
- Experience in restaurant, hospitality, or multi-unit retail environments preferred
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition, reconciliations, and collections
- Proficiency with Excel, accounting systems such as Restaurant365, and POS platforms
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both internal teams and external customers
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
