You will work closely with the Controller on multi-unit reporting, reconciliations and process improvement across our restaurants, commissary and legal entities. You will oversee cash activity, including check runs, bank transfers and account funding, and work across Restaurant365 for our restaurants and NetSuite for the commissary.
This role is a strong fit for someone who likes getting into the details, enjoys building cleaner processes and wants to grow with a company in expansion mode.
What You’ll Do
CASH MANAGEMENT & TREASURY

- Record weekly payroll journal entries and imports, and reconcile payroll, tips payable, payroll reimbursement clearing and benefit liabilities in partnership with the Payroll team.
- Complete intercompany tie-outs between our restaurant entities in Restaurant365 and the commissary in NetSuite, and support consolidations.
- Investigate and resolve reconciling items promptly, documenting support for every balance.
SALES, CASH & REVENUE
- Reconcile daily sales and deposits across every location and sales channel, including in-store, online, catering and delivery.
- Review and approve daily sales summaries.
- Monitor cash over/short and cash on hand, and reinforce cash handling expectations with General Managers and District Managers.

- Pay personal property tax bills and remit New Hampshire liquor purchases.
- Conduct quarterly vendor W-9 reviews, and support 1099 reporting and annual tax return preparation with our outside tax advisors.
LEASES, RENT & VENDOR PAYMENTS

- Submit monthly and quarterly sales reports to landlords as required by each lease.
- Manage utility, benefits carrier and recurring vendor payments, including autopay setup and confirmation.
FIXED ASSETS & NEW RESTAURANT OPENINGS
- Track construction-in-progress and capital spend, maintain the fixed asset register and record depreciation.
- Set up accounting for each new restaurant, including system location setup, utility and vendor accounts, bank and merchant connections and tax registrations.
RESTAURANT REPORTING, AUDIT & CONTROLS
- Prepare and review location-level P&Ls for every restaurant and the commissary, and flag food cost, labor cost and prime cost variances to Operations.
- Support period-end inventory counts and COGS reconciliation in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Prepare schedules and support for the year-end audit or review.
- Help document and strengthen internal controls, including separation of payment, approval and reconciliation responsibilities.
SYSTEMS, PROCESS & TEAM SUPPORT
- Serve as a key user of Restaurant365 for our restaurants and NetSuite for the commissary, supporting system setup, integrations, reconciliation workflows and reporting.
- Identify manual work and recurring errors, and build cleaner, more scalable processes.
