What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant (Manufacturing) position at IAK TECH?
General accounting experience (3-5 years) preferably in a Manufacturing environment.
This position reports to the Plant Controller and is responsible for general accounting support, including but not limited to accounts payable processing, accounts receivable cash postings and collection, bank reconciliations.
Matches invoices to purchase orders/vouchers, data entry of vouchers and resolution of discrepancies.
Ensures proper coding of expenses.
Files documentation.
Provides general accounting support.
Prepares daily invoices from Sales and posts to GL.
Sends invoices to customers.
Applies cash receipts to customer accounts.
Assists in resolving discrepancies.
Prepares monthly bank reconciliations.
Participates in month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliation of accounts.
Assists Plant Controller with payroll processing.
Maintains confidentiality.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
Proven general accounting experience (3-5 years) preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Comprehensive knowledge Accounting relating to accounts payable and accounts receivable and general accounting.
Solid understanding of accounting principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
Knowledge of ERP systems.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
