About the Role
As a Cashier at Pressed Cafe, you are the face of our brand and often the very first impression our guests receive. This role goes beyond simply processing transactions, it’s about creating a welcoming, upbeat, and seamless experience from the moment a guest walks through the door.
You will be responsible for accurately entering orders, handling payments, and ensuring each guest feels valued and taken care of. In addition to managing the register, you’ll play an active role in delivering food and beverages with care, answering questions about our menu, and maintaining a clean, organized front-of-house environment.

What You’ll Do
- Accurately ring in orders and take payments for guests
- Deliver food and drinks to guests in the dining room
- Be able to answer frequently asked questions
- Complete special daily or weekly cleaning tasks
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
- Be able to switch tasks without notice based on needs of business and guests
- Be on your feet standing and walking for all working hours
- Occasional lifting
