- Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, adjustments)
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations; investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Review accounts for anomalies or variances; prepare adjusting entries as needed
- Collaborate with department leads to support budgeting, coding, and financial inquiries
- Assist with annual audit preparation (schedules, documentation, analyses)
- Maintain complete and organized financial documentation aligned with internal controls
- Identify and recommend process improvements to streamline accounting operations
- Support cross-departmental financial needs and special projects
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance/CFO
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (preferred)
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer service mindset
