You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (METROLOGY) in the Electrical Shop, Production Resources Department of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Qualifications:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Experience with quality principles and practices, calibration methodology, inspection and quality control processes.
- Experience with NAVSEA requirements and operating procedures related to metrology and calibration functions.
- Experience interpreting calibration requirements, technical data, product specifications, drawings, policy statements and other guidelines in order to identify the characteristics to ensure quality.
- Experience leading failure analysis investigations to determine the cause of quality problems and recommend preventive actions.
