You will serve as an ELECTRICIAN LEADER in the TEMPORARY SERVICES SHOP, PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.

- Ability to Instruct various levels of electricians on proper work procedures and methods, use of tools, and safety pertaining to shop trade skills.
- Ability to direct crew member in the proper setting up of the shops' involvement in boat arrivals, boat dry docking requirements, undocking, and berthing requirements.
- Verify work progress and ensure that the proper protective equipment is being used and safety practices are being followed by crew members.
- Ensures crew members follow the work sequences, procedures, methods, and deadlines have been met.
- Ability to Reads and interprets sketches, blueprints, drawings, work orders, and process instructions.
- Ability to proper work procedures pertaining to the maintenance of all shipboard electrical systems.
- Sees that the necessary material, tools, blueprints, and any software and equipment is furnished and available to crew members to perform the work.
