Qualifications:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Experience identifying and evaluating conventional and non-conventional industrial and shipyard hazardous conditions which may involve risk to personnel.
- Experience applying occupational safety and health practices applicable to equipment used in the construction and shipyard industries, materials, utility and ship systems.
- Experience communicating ergonomic principles to motivate individuals to act and work in a safe manner.
- Experience recommending corrective measures when hazardous conditions and practices are encountered during industrial and ship overhaul trade processes, procedures, and use of tools.
