Ambient Recruiting is partnering with a growing Northern Michigan manufacturer to hire Material Handlers for both 1st and 2nd shift. This position plays a critical role in keeping production running efficiently by ensuring materials are delivered where they're needed, inventory stays organized, and manufacturing teams have the resources they need to succeed.

What You'll Be Doing

In this position, you'll:

• Move raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the facility
• Supply production lines to keep manufacturing running efficiently
• Load, unload, stack, and organize materials safely
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment (training available)
• Monitor inventory levels and transport materials where they're needed
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse organization
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work closely with production teams to support daily manufacturing goals

What We're Looking For

Successful candidates typically have:

• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience is helpful but not required
• Forklift experience is a plus (training available for the right candidate)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic
• Ability to lift, move, and carry materials up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable standing and remaining active throughout the shift
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
