Ambient Recruiting is partnering with a well-established Northern Michigan precision manufacturer to hire a Production Support Associate. This important role helps keep production moving by supporting material handling, recycling operations, housekeeping, and general shop activities throughout the facility.

What You'll Be Doing

In this position, you'll:

• Collect metal chips from production machines and process them using a chip spinner
• Move materials throughout the facility using tier-lift trucks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment
• Weigh, sort, and document scrap materials and production byproducts
• Support recycling and scrap removal operations
• Clean production equipment and maintain organized work areas
• Remove trash and help keep manufacturing areas operating efficiently
• Sort, rack, box, and prepare finished parts for the next stage of production
• Assist with deburring and reworking machined components as needed
• Support production and maintenance teams with general shop responsibilities
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards

What We're Looking For

Successful candidates typically have:

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Manufacturing, warehouse, production, or material handling experience is helpful but not required
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening
