The Equipment Engineer - Downstream Operations will support downstream manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment readiness, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating cross-functional projects to maintain efficient and compliant production processes.

Responsibilities of the Equipment Engineer - Downstream Operations include:
- Ensure equipment readiness and troubleshoot issues for downstream operations including chromatography, UF/DF (ultrafiltration/diafiltration), and buffer preparation.
- Provide on-the-floor support to manufacturing teams to maintain smooth and efficient operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, automation, and maintenance to coordinate equipment-related projects.
- Lead efforts to transition equipment from project phase into full-scale manufacturing operations.
- Support flexible work schedules, including occasional nights and weekends, to meet production needs.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in downstream operations, specifically with chromatography, UF/DF, and buffer preparation.
- Demonstrated ability to move equipment from project phase into operational manufacturing environments (not lab-based).
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team within a GMP manufacturing setting.
- Salary Range: $135,000-$150,000/year
