Responsibilities of the Clinical Pathologist include:
- Perform expert diagnostic evaluations in clinical pathology, including interpretation of laboratory data and oversight of testing methodologies
- Collaborate with research and clinical teams to provide pathology insights that support diagnostic accuracy and therapeutic development
- Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, and other regulatory standards across clinical laboratory operations
- Contribute to quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement in laboratory practices
- Participate in clinical chemistry and pathology reviews, supporting both routine and specialized testing protocols
- MD or DO with board certification in Clinical Pathology (American Board of Pathology) or Clinical Chemistry certification
- Eligible for or holding a New York state medical license
- Strong foundation in anatomic pathology; fellowship training welcome
- Open to candidates coming directly out of fellowship who meet core qualifications
- Background in hospital or industry settings acceptable; management experience not required
- Salary Range: $275,000/year - $325,000/year based on experience
