This is a hybrid position based in Farmingdale, NY, with three days onsite per week. Responsibilities of the Clinical Pathologist:
Diagnostic Leadership & Clinical Oversight:
- Provide expert interpretation of clinical pathology data and ensure accuracy across testing methodologies
- Partner with clinical and research teams to deliver pathology insights that drive diagnostic precision and therapeutic development
- Oversee compliance with CAP, CLIA, and other regulatory standards in laboratory operations
- Contribute to ongoing quality assurance initiatives and help shape best practices in clinical lab operations
- Participate in reviews of clinical chemistry and pathology results, supporting both standard and specialized testing protocols
- MD or DO with board certification in Clinical Pathology (American Board of Pathology) or Clinical Chemistry
- Eligible for or currently holding a New York State medical license
- Strong foundation in anatomic pathology; fellowship training is a plus
- Open to candidates coming directly out of fellowship who meet core qualifications
- Experience in hospital or industry settings welcome; management experience not required
- Salary starting at $275,000/year
