Audiologist | School-Based | Near Palo Alto Area | Part-Time (15–20 Hrs/Week)
Phaxis Education is seeking a School-Based Audiologist to support a K–12 student population in the Palo Alto, CA area. This is a part-time (15–20 hours/week) opportunity ideal for an Audiologist looking for flexible scheduling, strong support, and meaningful pediatric/school-based impact.

Position Overview
As a School-Based Audiologist, you will provide diagnostic, consultative, and support services to students across district sites. You will work closely with Special Education teams to ensure students receive appropriate hearing-related accommodations and services that support academic success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct hearing evaluations and auditory processing screenings
- Provide audiological assessments for IEP eligibility and compliance
- Collaborate with SLPs, Special Education staff, and school psychologists
- Support assistive listening devices and classroom hearing accommodations
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide clinical recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications
- Active Audiologist license (Au.D. or CCC-A required)
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education teams
- Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
