Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to students, including first aid, emergency response, and medication administration
- Manage chronic health conditions and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs)
- Maintain accurate and confidential student health records
- Conduct health screenings (e.g., vision, hearing) and monitor immunization compliance
- Support school health initiatives and deliver basic health education to students and staff
- Serve as a liaison between families, healthcare providers, and school personnel
- Participate in IEP/504 planning when medical accommodations are needed
- Train and support staff in emergency procedures (e.g., EpiPen, seizure response, CPR)
Job Details
- Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting
- Hours: Full-time (Monday - Friday)
- Caseload: Elementary, Middle, and High School options
Successful Candidates Possess
- ASN or BSN
- An active or pending state licensure, or the ability to obtain (preferred)
- Experience in a pediatric or school setting (preferred)
- The ability to work in the U.S. without a sponsor
