Special Education Teacher – K–12 | Gardner, MA | $50–$56/hr | 2025–2026 School Year
Phaxis Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school team near Gardner, MA for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic, social, and emotional growth in a collaborative, inclusive environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement individualized IEPs
- Deliver direct instruction in academics, social-emotional, and behavioral skills
- Track progress and adjust instruction using data-driven strategies
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff
- Maintain records, participate in IEP meetings, and communicate with families
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education license (or eligibility)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Special Education or related field
- Experience teaching students with mild/moderate needs preferred
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
Position Details:
- Full-Time | 37.5 hours/week | August 2025 – June 2026
- Contract with potential renewal
- K–12 caseload of students with mild/moderate special education needs
- Competitive pay: $50–$56/hr based on experience
