We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support Direct Procurement Operations for a leading life sciences organization. This role will focus on executing procurement activities aligned with category strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost optimization initiatives.
You will play a key role in ensuring seamless procurement operations, maintaining data accuracy, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
- Execute procurement transactions and operational activities in alignment with category strategies
- Manage supplier relationships, including issue resolution and escalation handling
- Support sourcing activities, including spot buying and basic contracting
- Maintain and update procurement master data with high accuracy
- Drive cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives
- Utilize procurement systems (SAP/ERP, P2P tools, eSourcing platforms)
- Analyze data to support decision-making and identify potential risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to meet business requirements
✅ Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Business or related field preferred)
- 3 years of procurement experience
- Experience in sourcing, supplier management, and contracting
- Familiarity with procure-to-pay (P2P) processes and enterprise systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Experience in life sciences, biotech, or diagnostics industry
- Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems
- Exposure to eSourcing tools (Ariba, Coupa, etc.)
