Executive Chef to lead the kitchen of a modern Italian restaurant in NYC—a concept rooted in quality ingredients, refined execution, and a contemporary approach to Italian cuisine.

You’ll be stepping into a well-structured BOH operation with an established, supportive team already in place, allowing you to focus on leadership, consistency, and elevating the culinary program.
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for a hands-on, well-rounded Executive Chef who:
- Has a strong background in Italian cuisine (traditional modern approach)
- Is highly skilled in BOH systems, structure, and procedures
- Leads with calm, professionalism, and consistency
- Is comfortable managing and mentoring an established kitchen team
- Has a strong sense of organization, standards, and accountability
- Brings a collaborative mindset while maintaining clear leadership
Key Responsibilities
- Culinary Leadership Oversee all kitchen operations and ensure consistent, high-quality execution
- Lead and mentor the BOH team, maintaining a positive and professional culture
- Be present and engaged during service—leading from the front when needed
- Operations & SystemsMaintain and improve BOH procedures, systems, and kitchen organization
- Oversee food cost, ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships
- Ensure all kitchens are clean, efficient, and fully compliant
Menu & Product
Execute a modern Italian menu with consistency and attention to detail
- Collaborate on seasonal updates and product-driven changes
- Maintain high standards in sourcing, preparation, and presentation
