EVENTS & PRIVATE DINING MANAGER
Beautiful New Modern Italian Restaurant | Midtown Manhattan
$75K–85K Base 3% Commission
A beautiful new Modern Italian restaurant recently opened 6 months ago in Midtown Manhattan is looking for a warm, organized, and relationship-driven Events & Private Dining Manager to help build something truly special from the very beginning.
This is a very exciting opportunity for someone who genuinely loves hospitality, people, restaurants, networking, and creating memorable experiences.
The events department is currently being managed directly by ownership, so this role will play a huge part in helping shape and grow the program moving forward. We are looking for someone entrepreneurial, proactive, creative, and excited to bring fresh energy and ideas to the table.

You’ll work closely with ownership in a collaborative, positive, and modern environment where your ideas and contributions will genuinely matter.
WHAT THE ROLE WILL LOOK LIKE
You’ll be:
- Managing inbound and outbound private dining and event inquiries
- Building relationships with corporate clients, hotels, concierge teams, PR agencies, and local businesses
- Coordinating dinners, celebrations, cocktail parties, buyouts, tastings, and special events
- Creating proposals, contracts, menus, and event timelines
- Collaborating closely with ownership, culinary leadership, and operations teams
- Helping organize and build systems for a growing events department
- Assisting with partnerships, creative outreach, marketing ideas, and social media collaborations
- Finding ways to grow visibility, guest engagement, repeat business, and overall event revenue
We’d love someone who enjoys being both creative and organized — someone who can build relationships while also keeping details, timelines, and communication running smoothly.
WHO WE’D LOVE TO MEET
- Someone with previous Events Sales, Private Dining, or Hospitality Events experience
- A naturally warm, polished, and outgoing personality
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Someone independent and proactive who enjoys ownership and autonomy
- A candidate who understands modern hospitality culture, guest engagement, branding, and social media
- NYC hospitality connections are a huge plus
- Experience with restaurants, hotels, nightlife, lifestyle brands, or event-driven venues is highly preferred
- Someone excited by growth opportunities and being part of a new opening from day one
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality and loves building relationships with people.
SCHEDULE & WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role does require a strong on-site presence initially, especially during the opening and early growth phase of the events program while ownership is still directly involved day-to-day.
That said, the long-term vision is absolutely to create flexibility and autonomy for the right person. Once the events program is fully built out and running smoothly, there is definitely potential for a more hybrid schedule down the road.

COMPENSATION
- Base Salary: $75,000–85,000
- 3% Commission Structure
