Position Description:
Our client is seeking a talented and driven Labor and Employment Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of experience advising on employment law matters, handling workplace disputes, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of employment and labor laws including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, and relevant state laws
- Experience litigating single-plaintiff employment discrimination cases before administrative agencies (e.g., EEOC, IDHR) and in federal/state courts
- Proficiency in drafting employment-related documents such as agreements, handbooks, and separation packages
- Willingness to support M&A transactions as a labor and employment specialist
- Experience with labor/collective bargaining or class/collective actions is a plus
- Active Illinois law license.
