Associate - FIDO/Professional Liability Coverage

Permanent Placements is seeking a highly motivated and experienced attorney with a minimum of 4 years of practice focused on third-party insurance coverage advice and litigation. This role involves representing both international and domestic insurers across a diverse range of insurance products, including professional liability, directors and officers (D&O), cyber-risk, media, and commercial general liability policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze insurance policies and draft coverage opinions and recommendations.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis; prepare detailed memoranda.
• Draft and review pleadings, briefs, discovery documents, motions, and other legal correspondence.
• Prepare formal communications to opposing counsel and other parties.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and mediations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Capacity to manage sensitive and time-critical matters, often simultaneously.
• Proven ability to prioritize and resolve issues efficiently.

Education & Experience:

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Admission to practice law in Georgia.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in complex third-party insurance coverage litigation.
• Significant experience in professional liability; familiarity with D&O, cyber-risk, and media policies is a plus.
• Solid litigation background.
